

Dr. Simon Davidson
Dr. Simon Davidson is a psychiatrist specializing in children, youth, emerging adults, and their families. He earned his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and completed his psychiatry residency at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
Dr. Davidson is a Past President of the Canadian Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (CACAP), a former Chief of Staff at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, and the past Chair of the Child and Youth Advisory Committee for the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
With expertise in system theory, analysis, and change management, his academic and clinical focus includes developing and implementing integrated mental health service models, enhancing youth engagement in therapy and service planning, promoting early intervention and prevention strategies, and improving transitions for youth and emerging adults into adult mental health services.
